Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) One-third the cost of an MRI done at the hospital
Tri-City Orthopaedics has been offering MRI services to our patients for over 10 years at our Kennewick clinic.
Our Optima MR450w 1.5T with GEM Suite coil technology from GE Healthcare delivers uncompromised imaging capability for the most advanced and demanding exams. Additionally, it helps to maximize comfort for patients who have difficulty with claustrophobia, plus the unit allows the patient more room and a more spacious field of view.

CT Scans An uncompromised view in foot and ankle diagnostics
A CT scanner (Computerized Tomography) uses digital geometry processing to create a 3D image of the inside of an object. The 3D image is produced after many 2D X-ray images are taken around a single point of rotation. In more simple terms, many pictures of the same area are taken from many angles and then placed together to produce a 3D image. TCO currently only offers a CT scan of the foot and ankle.
"Tri-City Orthopaedic Clinic located in Kennewick, WA has been granted a three-year term of accreditation by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) in CT in the area(s) of Body CT. This latest accreditation awarded to Tri-City Orthopaedic Clinic demonstrates the facility’s ongoing commitment to providing quality patient care in CT."

X-Ray State-of-the-art diagnostic imaging services
Digital X-rays are higher quality compared to traditional film X-rays because they provide larger, clearer color-enhanced images that result in a more definite diagnosis. Digital imaging plates allow for faster and easier positioning, which can lead to less stress for injured or ill patients.
Our certified X-ray technicians will take you to get your X-ray and then return you to your room. In order to maintain the strictest quality control requirements, all X-rays are read by your ordering physician.

ACR MRI Accreditation
The American College of Radiology (ACR) awards accreditation to facilities for the achievement of high practice standards after a peer-review evaluation of the practice. Image quality and procedure evaluations are conducted by board-certified radiologists and medical physicists who are experts in the field. The program also evaluates personnel qualifications, adequacy of facility equipment, quality control procedures, and quality assurance programs. All findings are reported to the practice via a comprehensive report that includes recommendations for improvement.

Unprecedented Foot & Ankle Diagnostics
TCO has the power and precision of pedCAT™. We can evaluate and diagnose our patients with the confidence that only true weight-bearing CT imaging can provide. The pedCAT is the first in-office, ultra-low dose CT solution for the foot and ankle. TCO can capture both feet simultaneously in a standing or seated position in under a minute, or capture a partial, single foot in 20 seconds. The full 3D volume is ready to view in less than three minutes.
