Kelsie Taylor, PT, DPT Orthopaedic Physical Therapist
About
Kelsie Taylor specializes in evidence-based orthopaedic and sports physical therapy, believing in a holistic approach that not only addresses the symptoms, but also focuses on the underlying causes of pain and dysfunction. She first became interested in physical therapy at the age of 14 when she attended physical therapy herself for the first time. Growing up in competitive sports, and a few more bouts of physical therapy, the passion to help others return to their active lifestyles while fostering a positive and upbeat environment persisted.
Kelsie enjoys meeting patients where they are at physically, and mentally, as recovering from injury and surgery can be so difficult. She also enjoys injury prevention, and is committed to professional development and ongoing education to see patients return to their recreational activities of choice, be it high school or college athletics, weekend warrior activities, keeping up with the grandkids, or simply performing activities of daily living and job duties without pain. Her treatment philosophy revolves around good communication, empathy, and patient education, as well as creativity and saliency for each person that chooses TCO Physical Therapy for their care.
Having acquired a love for the game of golf after finishing her schooling, Kelsie pursued her Titleist Performance Institute Certification. She is ready to help you elevate your golf game by addressing physical limitations and pain that may be restricting you from finding your most efficient swing.
After growing up in the beautiful mountains outside of Naches, WA, she went on to graduate Cum Laude from Washington State University with a B.S. in Kinesiology, and a minor in Psychology while competing in Track and Field for the Cougs. She then attended The University of Montana to obtain her Doctorate in Physical Therapy before returning to Washington to begin her career with Tri-City Orthopaedics in 2020. Kelsie spends her free-time golfing, or finding any excuse to get outside. She enjoys fishing, competing in shooting sports, woodworking, and coaching youth.
