Meet Our Physical Therapists

A physical therapist is a degree-holding health professional trained in the evaluation and treatment of different conditions that affect physical function. A physical therapist evaluates all components of movement: strength, range of motion, flexibility, balance, posture, body mechanics, coordination, endurance, and general mobility. After evaluating the patient, the physical therapist will develop an individualized treatment program to aid the patient in restoring physical function. A physical therapist may work in a hospital, clinic, school, rehabilitation center, or in a patient’s home. As part of treatment, a physical therapist will provide education about the problem and instruction in exercises to improve function.
